With the Conference returning to Victoria after a several successful years of District Conferences interstate, the 2012 Conference provides every District 9800 Rotarian and Club with the opportunity to attend and be part of our special event. With less travel and several accommodation options available to suit any budget, the 2012 Conference promises to be accessible, friendly and perfectly positioned to capture the heartbeat of Melbourne.
Hosting the 2012 Conference within our District means that Rotarians will have more choices than ever in terms of accessible accommodation - Visiting regional Rotarians and those looking to have a perfect weekend getaway in their own city can stay at a terrific range of selected hotels and apartments nearby the Conference venue, or alternately, a Fellowship Billeting program (see below) will be available to pair regional Rotarians with metropolitan counterparts, strengthening connections, fellowship and the Rotary spirit throughout the District!

The above rates are in Australian dollars and include the Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST). The GST will be charged by the hotel, as the Conference Organisers will forward the deposit on your behalf.
Rates may increase without notice due to changes in government charges, taxes or levies.
Room only rates do not include breakfast
How to Book Accommodation
To book, complete the online registration form under the Registration tab of this website. The Conference Organisers will forward your contact details, reservation and deposit to the hotel/apartment of your choice.
Deposits
Rooms are being held by the Conference Organisers on behalf of the delegates until Friday 3 February 2012. All hotel accommodation bookings must be accompanied by a minimum one night‘s rate in order to secure the reservation.
The Conference Organisers will accept accommodation deposits up until Friday 3 February 2012 and will settle the deposits with the hotel. Deposits will be forwarded by the Conference Office to the hotel we have booked on your behalf.
Delegates must settle the balance of their account and any incidentals upon check out. The deposit for the first night is non-refundable if the reservation is cancelled on or after Friday 3 February 2012, or if you do not arrive on the date specified in your booking documentation.
Payment
The rates per room per night are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST), which is charged by the hotel on checkout. The credit card details will also be used to pay for all room nights if you cancel within 15 days or do not show up.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation before Friday 3 February 2012: The deposit for the first night is refunded, less a $25 cancellation fee, if the reservation is cancelled before February 3 2012.
Cancellation on or after Friday 3 February 2012: The deposit for the first night is not refunded if the reservation is cancelled on or after Friday 3 February 2012 at all hotels.
Cancellation 15 – 0 days prior to arrival date: All rooms cancelled 15-1 days prior to arrival will incur 100% cancellation fee. That is, all rooms will be charged at the full accommodation rate for the duration of the booking.
No shows: No shows will be charged at the full accommodation rate for the duration of the booking.
Early or Late Arrival
Most hotels allow you to check in from 3pm. If you wish to check in earlier, additional charges may apply. If you will be arriving after 6pm, please notify the Conference Office. Failure to advise late arrival may result in your room being released.
Change of Booking
Prior to Friday 3 February 2012, changes to bookings must be forwarded in writing to the Conference Office. After this date all changes must be directed to the hotel.
