Ethics and integrity are essential to great leadership. Great leadership is essential to ensure ethics and integrity determine Australia’s future.
First Plenary Session:
Saturday 10th March 2012, commencing 8:30am
Conference Opening, Q&A With Tony Jones: “How Ethics Should Govern Australia’s Future”
As a Rotarian, when those we know ask about Rotary and why we choose to lend our time to serving the community, it can sometimes be difficult to completely convey just what it means to be a part of Rotary. But nothing provides a better example than seeing Rotary in action. And there is no better example of Rotary in action than the showcase of Rotary on offer at the 2012 Melbourne Rotary District 9800 Conference.
The 2012 Blue Ticket is purchasable to admit non-Rotarians to our First Plenary session at the 2012 Conference, including the Q&A Session with Tony Jones and a panel of Australian business, government and community leaders speaking on the importance of ethics.
Whether a colleague, friend or family member of a Rotarian, or just an intrigued member of the public, this a chance to see what Rotary is all about – inspiring speakers, the fellowship of people who want to give back to their community and the opportunity to hear how it’s possible to put good intentions into action.
The First Plenary Session will also include entertainment featuring The Victorian Police Show Band, soprano Elizabeth Barrow and famed conductor and singer Jonathon Welch as well as keynote addresses by business and community leaders Andrew MacLeod and Annette Kimmitt. A fully catered morning tea will be provided as part of this session.
